Week 38 - Last Day!

This is it! - The Last Day of NC Digital Media Level 6.

It's really sad that the end of the course has come, but I hope to be back next year and carry on my media studies that are great fun to study.  Our lecturer David is retiring and an Additional Support staff member, Solveig, who has helped me through my years at college, is leaving too.  They've been good friends and I will miss them very much.

Many of us on the NC course are moving onto HNC Computing, and I wish them all the best of luck for the course ahead of them.

I hope that next year goes well for us all and for me.  Thank you for following me this year, it has been an interesting year.  Hopefully see you next year.

Wish us all luck.

Week 38 - The Final Week of College Begins!

It's the Final Week of NC Digital Media Level 6! - I still can't believe it.

So far for David, DME is complete, but the Animation part is proving to be a nightmare.  It works before it's loaded up, but finding it after it's loaded is a problem as it comes up with file/directory error message.  But then again, it only seems to work when it likes, and every method that is tried will seem to work one of us on the course, but once we try to make it work for all of us, the method seems to stop working altogether.  I have no hope for the class anymore now, despite the fact that it's not a core unit.

But thankfully, at about half past four in the afternoon, I was able to complete the uploading and I gave the link to David for marking.  All that is needed to do is finish the paperwork and hope that it'll be a pass.

This week is likely be about any amendments needing done, and as far as I'm aware, I have no amendments to do.

I hope that this week goes well for all of us.

Wish us all luck.

Week 37 - Review of the Week

One week of college left - I can't believe it that the course is all but over.

Most of my classes are done, just David's Animation class that's in need of finishing because nobody seems to know a thing about the play/pause action buttons David's asking for.  One piece of advice I'd get about the Adobe Flash Professional is if you're going to make an animated piece, create it in one go.  Don't do one part, leave it and then come back to do the next part another time.

For Adrian, the class's workbook log is complete, handed in and passed.

I have applied for college next year, this time I'll be doing a Media course instead of a Computing course.  I will have an interview for a place on the course then I'll have to wait and see if I'll be on the course.

Next week is all about amendments for this course.  I don't have any amendments to do, but I'll attend college all the same.

I hope that next week (our last week) goes well for all of us.

Wish us all luck.
