2016 will most likely be remembered as the year with the most lows in one year.
Italy has been hit by two earthquakes and have shaken many buildings to the core.
Nearly everyday has the news talking about the besieged city of Aleppo where Russian-backed Syrian government forces bombard the rebel held areas, reducing the city's streets and houses to to piles of concrete. One man talked about how it took 4,000 years and hundreds of generations to build the city, and how it's take one generation under 4 years to destroy it. Only this month, they're evacuating the people out (on-and-off).
On the 23rd of June, the UK voted to leave the European Union, causing David Cameron to resign as Prime Minister and let Theresa May take the job, becoming the second female British Prime Minister. Now the departure from the EU is under the course of Brexit, but there those who are unhappy.
The only up, in my view, is, of course, the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. It is remembered as Britain's most successful games aboard with more medals then London 2012. All of this despite fears of the outbreak of the Zika virus and the news of nation-backed cheating and drug tests showing illegal use by those taking part.
I hope that 2017 will be much better for us all.
Wish us all luck.

Christmas Holidays as begun!
This week began slightly quiet, for once. Monday went by very quickly with a quick tidy up of a document I made an error in. But I forgot to up in my application for next year in.
Today, Wednesday, I was slightly late, as I finished making my Christmas cards I was bringing in before I left home this morning. This morning, Anne was late too, so it wasn't too bad. With Anne's help, I have placed in my application for next year and I hope to study for NC Media.
This Friday is only a half-day, and Anne's not bothering about, so either am I.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

14th of December 2016
The last full week of College before the Christmas Holidays is half done. Next week is most likely to be finished on Wednesday or Thursday due to the fact Christmas will be over the following weekend, with College being reopened for students on the 9th of January.
Today is the 105th anniversary of Roald Amundsen's South Pole expedition reaching the South Pole, thus winning the Race to South Pole, and perhaps overshadowed by Captain Scott. I can't believe that it was that long ago.
Wish us all luck. And a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!

Considering next year
First full week of December gone, and just about two weeks left before we finish for Christmas. It's hard to believe that Christmas is almost here.
Today, Anne of SkillZone and I were talking about next year and one of the subjects we talked was about applying for next year. I had applied for NC Media for this year, but I got an interview for the course and, sadly, I didn't get onto the course, so I decided the do my ECDL Advanced Word course.
Anne mentioned that she can help me fill in the application for NC Media. I hope, with Anne's help, I might get onto the NC Media course for next year.
I hope this Christmas will go well for all of this.
Wish us all luck.
