In David's DME classes, we all went around the college recording sounds that go on around the building.
The sounds inside are fine, but the sounds from outside are heavily veiled by the wind, which sounds like somebody is blowing into the microphone. It's horrible to listen to. On the whole, I don't think that it was a total lose.
We've got an assessment tomorrow morning with Suzanne's Trouble Shooting and Secure IT, I hope that goes well for us. There a possible assessment for Suzanne's maths class on Wednesday, but we'll see about that.
I hope that this week goes well for all of us.
Wish us all luck.

Week 25 - Review of the week
End of another week at college.
I still have to think hard for the video's plan for David's DME.
For Suzanne's Troubleshoot and Secure IT class, we have an assessment that covers the following Acts:
We have been told that a group inspectors are going to be coming to the college the week after next (sounds interesting, and we're not sure where they're from).
I hope that we will all do well next week.
Wish us all luck.

Week 25 - Talk of aircraft carriers
Hi all.
This morning, in Communications class, I did a presentation on a Communications project I did last semester. My lecturer gave a positive review for the presentation.
In David's class, we mentioned about aircraft carriers. Donald says that the ram at the front of our aircraft carriers don't look nice on the bow of the ships. David has asked us to create a storyboard for our videos. I have started to think of a couple of ideas to put into the storyboard. If David wants a song in the video, I think that I'll listen to the song and work the video round it to see if it would work. I think that I'll go out and about Inverness College, take photos and videos of the campus and work around them too.
For Wednesday, we have been told that Adrian's class is not on due to Adrian being at a meeting that afternoon.
I hope that this week will go well for all of us.
Wish us all luck.

Week 24 - Review of the week
End of another week at college.
Suzanne's Software class gives its workload like Bang! Bang! Bang!, I'd prefer it like Pop. Pop. Pop. That would make it much easier to work with. We didn't have Suzanne's Troubleshoot and Secure IT Systems class as she was in a meeting. Suzanne's mathematics class is going very well (it's maths after all).
With Adrian, I've had my PAT interview and we all discussed about Networks in our Computing: Plan and Build A Computer Network class.
In Suzanne's PC Passport class, we were given a new database to create to start working on next week for the class.
I hope that next week goes well for all of us. One or two have started talking about Aberdeen University next year already. I'm planning the next level of the course (part-time).
Wish us all luck.

80th Blog - Week 24 - Making a start for DME
The beginning of Week 24, and my Eightieth blog - incredible!
In DME, we have made our proposals and handed them in for David to have a look. David attempted to show how to work Windows Movie Maker, I think that I've had more practice with the software than David has had. David has asked us to edit the audio (music) for the video if possible.
I hope that David approves of our videos for the course and this week goes well for us.
Wish us all luck.

Week 23 - Review of the week
Hard to believe that it's the end of the week, but I'm glad it is.
I'm struggling to figure out what David is asking us to do for his class, so I asked for some more information about the project he's asking for.
We've got Adrian's first class sorted out at least in the case of where to go to. We then had a talk about networks in his second class.
Suzanne's software class is asking a very lot of work from us all, I don't know if I'll be able to cope with the work that is yet to come.
We went to a lecture in the Lecture Theatre about how DJ could be related to the course (I'm still trying to figure that part out too).
Suzanne's second semester of PC Passport is starting to make way work-wise. Creating a query in the database proved tricky due a design mistake and unrelated relationship connections that was easy to correct. Making a form on the work from the query was just as easy to do. Just the database booklet to do and later the spreadsheets.
I hope that next week goes well for all of us.
Wish us all luck.

Week 23 - DME's talk of ships
The start of another week at college
In DME we talked about songs for our project. I might stand by my choices from last week. Today David mentioned about doing a video around the new college campus, and since its resembles a ship (some say cruise ship, I say aircraft carrier), the video might be related to ships. I'm not so sure how, but if we did such a project, it could be interesting all the same. Chances are we will be using Windows Movie Maker to make the video. Just thinking about the class makes me think that I'll need to go and find my notes from last year for reference. David has asked us to plan our videos, I suppose I could use Storyboard to help plan the video.
In the class, David has shown us some videos from previous years, one or two were good, one or two were not so good (one have a person doing a silly dance where and when he wasn't supposed to be in the video at all). So our videos have to be appropriate with what it's about, not just its contents (like audio). I hope that I'll able to think of a good video for David.
I hope that this week goes well for all of us on the course.
Wish us all luck.

Week 22 - Another week gone
This week has been an interesting one work wise.
On Tuesday, in our troubleshooting class we looked at the Computer Misuse Act 1990 and the penalties are for it. Later, in Software Development, we looked at the "if" statement of a software.
Yesterday, in Mathematics, we looked at decimal maths where the sums 6.3x10/\(3) equals 6300 and 6.3x10/\(-3) equals 0.0063. Sounds hard, but really easy, just watch how zeros there are. In Adrian's Network class, we looked at the concept of LAN (Local Area Network), hubs and switches. Before that we met up for Responsibilities of Employment. Last week, we went for that class at the first room mentioned in our timetable (there are three classrooms for the lesson), only to get a message from our lecturers asking where we were. Later that day, we went to class and told our lecturers that we went to where our timetable told us to go, we even had a photo to prove it.
In PC Passport, we are learning of the databases. We were asked to create tables, relationships between them, a query and a form. Creating tables and relationships was easy, but the query wouldn't work at all. Turns out the query I was trying to make wasn't the query asked for at all.
I just hope that next week will go well for all of us on the course
Wish us all luck.

Week 22 - David's Request for DME
I have started this week, feeling as shattered as last week.
In David's class we are asked to do video for our Digital Media Elements after nominating some song we're interesting in, I'm not so sure what music, or songs, I'm interested in. I'll listen to music, that fine and easy for me, but picking one I like isn't so easy, cause I listen to bit of everything. I'm going to have to think very hard for that.
A couple of songs I've thought of was Caledonia and Amazing Grace. I'll just have to think what other songs I could do, what images and pieces of video I could include for David's project.
I hope that this week goes well for all of us on the course.
Wish us all luck.
