Review of the Road Safety Event footage

The end of another week at college.

Yesterday in Intro to Comics and Graphic Novels, we continued to look at the differences between the two.  In Digital Imaging we were asked to photograph some of the art students putting their work up for a display in the study area, pick ones we liked, then hand them in for the Market Department.

Today we were looking at the footage of the event.  Some of the outdoor shots were very good, and Brian, our lecturer, says that some may have to be edited for the best bits.  The footage of the event indoors was not too bad, but when people were specking, we couldn't hear them clearly.  It was here that we talked about editing some of our videos and Brain asked us to start creating a logbook about the project.

During break between PAT this morning and the start of class, I took a look in the internet about last week's event, and I found a lot from the BBC, the Highland Council, the Inverness Courier (a local newspaper), the Press and Journal (another local newspaper) and the Inverness College websites.

Debbie Gilham was the lady who lost her daughter, Georgia, in a car crash a couple of years ago and came to speck about what happened and the aftermath.  I know a couple of people who know Debbie, but what shocked me a lot was that Georgia was studying at my old school before college, Culloden Academy.  I was shocked that Georgia and I walked the same corridors, and might have known some of the same teachers.

I hope that you will be careful on the road.

I hope that next week goes well for all of us.

Wish us all luck.
