Review of Week 30 - May The Fourth...

The end of Week 30 (Week 12 for Semester 2) - leaving just five weeks of the course left (Time does fly!).

In Comics, I have done some reviews of comics and graphic novels I have read, but for the practical part, the drawings I have done have been announced as a "storyboard".  The practical side will be storyboarded, then photographed, then drawn into the sketch books.  I do wish the instructions makes its mind up!

In Digital Imaging, I managed to have fun with three images, and Alison has told me she'll be checking up on my work next week.  I hope she'll enjoy the work so far.

In PAT, little happened.

The Media Project seemed to be in two sections.  The first was about checking the paperwork on the two projects we have been doing in class, the Arrive Alive road safety event, and the FLOW Photofest that was just outside the college last month.  The second sections (after a good, and needed lunch) was editing the Arrive Alive video, picking videos (after trying to locate some of them) and then editing them down to a reasonable length and altered the audio when there was sirens wailing.  Some of the videos, we've agreed, are good, just the audio has mixed reviews.  The outdoor audio is alright, but the indoor audio is echoey and may not as loud as it may need to be.  But despite all that, we had good fun in the editing and it made me feel like we were at last making progress on the video.

Today is the 4th of May, and some people call it Star Wars Day, in reference of the famous quote, "May The Force Be With You", spoofed as "May The Fourth Be With You".  Kieran made a joke concerning the 5th of May, "Revenge of Fifth".  Daniel was all for the joke, but then we realised that we won't be in college tomorrow, as it's a Saturday.  Ah well, better luck next year then.

One of us (I won't say who) clearly wasn't all for Sat Wars quotes, so I had a go at Star Trek's "Live Long and Prosper".

I hope that next week will go well for all of us.

Wish us all luck.
